Sharon Murphy is a legislative aide to a city council member in Lexington, Kentucky. She serves as the alternate representative to the Steering Committee of Kentuckians For The Commonwealth for the Central Kentucky KFTC chapter. She’s deeply involved in many aspects of KFTC’s work, including the Empower Kentucky project. Sharon was an Emerge Fellow in 2015 and a New Leaders Council Fellow in 2016. She has a degree in Political Science from the University of Kentucky and a Masters in Public Policy from the Andrew Young School of Policy Study at Georgia State University.
